Over the years Orion Pools has worked on many pools through out the Phoenix area. We are pleased to share with you some of the responses that we have received from our customers.

"Orion Pools has worked on both of our pools over the years. They are honest (astonishingly so in today's world) and do work that would make any professional proud. We are pleased to recommend "Orion Pools and Spas" to anybody for pool remodeling and repair."

"Just wanted to let you know how much we love our new pool plaster! Now that the water has warmed up and we're using the pool, we can really appreciate what an outstanding job you and your crew did last January. The plaster is so smooth and perfect, and the water finally looks blue after 35 years!

We've had this pool replastered many times over the past 35 years, but this is definitely the best plaster job we've ever seen.

Thank you very much."

"To anyone considering a pool remodel,

First off, Rob Edgar did not ask me for this letter and quite frankly he doesn't need it wriitten. I'm writing this to simply let you know how pleased I was with the end result. Rob came in as the owner of Orion Pools and Spas and was one of six remodelers that I invited in to quote our job.

I chose to work with Rob for several reasons. First off, I wasn't dealing with a salesman (or his commision) I was speaking with and planning my project with the person who would be most involved with and ultimately responsible for our project. Rob is a member of the Registrar of Contractors in good standing with no liens or judgments.

Right off the bat I liked the fact that he was

involved in every phase of the process.

Demo, resurface, decking, flagstone,

plumbing, all phases of the process were

supervised and much of the work was done

by Rob himself.

I'm somewhat difficult to work with when it

comes to contractors because I have some construction knowledge and that makes me dangerous. Rob listened, made suggestions, and ran the job better than anyone I've contracted with before. Our home is 23 years old and the pool remodel was our 4th major remodel effort.

If you're considering remodeling your pool or spa, I would highly recommend Orion Pools and Spas. If you like, arrange with Rob to come take a look at our job."

"Thank you again for the wonderful job your company did for us. Our pool looks brand new and beautiful. All of your crews were polite, friendly, professional and kept our yard clean and picked up of construction materials.

We have already recommended you to three of our friends and neighbors and will continue to do so. You have exceeded our highest expectations."

Adjusting the alkalinity to between 80 and 120 ppm makes balancing the pH much easier and prevents problems with the plaster, thus extending the life of your plaster. If the alkalinity is below 80 ppm add a small amount of pH buffer (sodium bicarbonate) daily until it reads above 80 ppm. If the alkalinity is above 120 ppm add one quart (4 ounces for spas) of hydrochloric or muriatic acid per day, with the equipment running, until the reading is below 120 ppm. Low alkalinity causes copper sulfate staining, premature breakdown of the plaster and can corrode equipment parts. High alkalinity causes calcium scale to form on pool surface which causes a stained and rough surface. Once the alkalinity has been brought into balance you should check and adjust it, if necessary, once a month.

"Thank you for all your help!

I am very happy with the way my pool

turned out."
